RED SAND dragons blood and sandalwood
The use of Dragons blood dates back centuries into the A.D. for its therapeutic actions used to heal the skin externally, making this a perfect new creation for a soap and salve to add to my product line. Dragon's blood extract is rich in tannins, which are compounds that have astringent and anti-inflammatory effects on the skin. Recent studies have shown that Dragon's blood extract can help to heal wounds and improve the appearance of scars. It can also help to reduce inflammation! While researching therapeutic actions and medicinal properties of herbs, barks, roots, flowers, extracts, things of that nature beware of the false information you find on the World Wide Web from people just wanting to lure you in with their verbiage, stick to the facts and not the fancy wording my friends. “Dragon’s blood“ was also used as a varnish because of its vibrant, red color.  lechleri (synonyms: C. draconoides, Oxydectes lechleri)is commonly known as sangre de drago in Peru and sangre de grado in Ecuador, both meaning dragon's blood. Its origin is in fact from a Draconis Palm!
Sandalwood soap is a luxurious and indulgent experience, but it's not just about feeling good. It also has a lot of benefits for your skin. Sandalwood soap is known for its ability to deep cleanse your pores and remove excess oils, making it a great choice for people with oily skin.
In conclusion what we have here is 2 products incorporated into one bar, Dragon’s blood and sandalwood both in a powdered form, making this a great choice to remove excess oil from clothing, scalps skin, while repairing impurities, reducing scars and aiding the skin in the healing process.
These new Frankincense bars are formulated with sunflower oil which contains high oleic acid content and vitamin E both elements needed to help heal, skin, scarring, etc. This is my first match and I can’t wait to experiment with these, Derek and I have come up with a name for these bars on the way to service this morning, red sun! When I have more time to get back into the creation station I am definitely going to be adding the red circle effect to the middle of the bars, to reflect its name RED SAND. The powdered dragons blood is bright red, which I believe for a finished product, will be aesthetically pleasing for this Frankincense Bar Creation.
